Is he the player Harry was mentioning where he tried to get a young premier league striker on loan and was told by his club that we would have to double his wages if he isn't played every week ?! If so, no thanks.

The Vile and Derby are reportedly in for him as well.

Paying him £22k per week when he doesn't play really isn't a big deal. It's a small salary.

He'll pretty much play every week here anyway considering he's better than what we have!

He will be on a lot more than 22K a week, didn't he sign a new contract recently?

Did well last season in a poor Blackburn team, quite similar player to Jutkiewicz and Donaldson though in terms of play though so I'd rather pursue other options if I'm honest, would be happy with we brought him in though

Crunched the numbers. Let's say we sign him on loan and he doesn't play 50% of games, he'd only take around £600k salary from us.

Erm.... that's not much Harry. I think he needs some new advisors!

He's a 6ft 4in centre forward. Plays right through the middle. One of England's best young prospects.

Similar physique to Nicklas Bendtner when he was loaned to us all those years ago.

You think he's one of our best young prospects, why? I think he's good without being that good.. but maybe I'm wrong.

He will definitely score circa 15 goals. Getting that on loan is an absolute coup for sure.

Wolves and Villa are in for him too......if he has any sense he'll come to the club who will guarantee him a start.

Harry Kane's last loan moves before getting into the Spurs first team were at the age of 21, during the 12/13 season.

They were to Norwich and then Leicester City - two teams up the top end of the table.

He scored just twice in 16 appearances.

Gallagher, at the age of 20, banged in 11 Championship goals last season for a team who were eventually relegated.

He's a top prospect IMO!

Know quite a few Blackburn fans who highly, highly rate him. Even a few Burnley fans do - last season they were winding up their rivals with claims that they had to rely on a loanee to have any hope of staying up.

He's a big lad, can be physical but also composed and mobile (pacy for a big man, too.) If we could pull this off, he is exactly the 'type' we need - harnessing the attributes of a typical number 9 from days of yore, but with the nous of a modern day striker. You can usually expect someone brought through the Southampton system to know how to play with a degree of football intelligence.

The idea of an Adams, Vassell, Gallagher frontline is far more promising than what we had on Friday.
